Souks

A souk is a boutique, flea market, supermarket, department store, open air reception, circus, sideshow, all at the same time, and very much a part of Arabian culture.

The Central Market (Blue souk)

It is the biggest of Sharjah markets, built according to Islamic design. Its location on the famous Khalid Lagoon enhances its beauty and magnificence.

The Sharjah Gold Center

The Gold Center Sharjah, opened in 1996, combines the intricacies of modern Islamic architecture with highly creative interior design and develops a traditional Arabian concept of open shopping. Al Majarrah Souk

A traditional yet modern souk with a distinctive Arabic flavor. Enclosed and cooled by air-conditioning, it is remarkable for its modern and traditional Islamic architecture and worth a visit for its golden dome showing the galaxy. Inside you will find a variety of shops offering clothes, shoes, perfumes and textiles. Look for the Amiri stores that has a very nice selection of textiles, Nina Ricci and Versace silk scarves
